Network bootable floppy, Answer file, and Installing the OS from the server only
Hello everyone,
Currently we are trying to setup some automated testing that will install a group of different OS’s consecutively.
We will be using answer files for each OS’s and will modify them manually.
However each time the test is run we will be starting with a fresh machine, the hard drive will be blank.
Also we want the machine to pull the OS’s from off a shared folder. This is where the problem starts. The setupmgr.exe wants to load the files into a separate distribution folder.
Is there a way that I can create a bootable floppy that accesses the network’s shared folder and installs the OS’s from the shared folder using the specified answer file on the floppy?
