New Dell Latitude 7420 cannot find the server on dock (K2000 SDA)

I am using the KACE SDA for deploying images. We have not had any issues until this new model. On 7400s and a couple earlier models, we had to disable secure boot and enable thunderbolt, and a few other small BIOS changes. No issues, even on a dock. With these new 7420s (new BIOS), we have changed everything we can think of in the settings but we can't get it to pull an image. I get to the log in for the appliance, see the KACE SDA logo, but it gets an error that it cannot ping the server.

Has anyone seen this or similar? Any suggestions?

Thanks!

that sounds like you need to a new KBE with updated network drivers.... Now I see that the mentioned machine is pretty brand new so maybe consider doing a harvest of drivers so you can put the network and storage driver to your new KBE

Thanks for the reply, I thought about that. I am trying to get the driver package downloaded on the SDA. Never had to do that before. It has been installing for hours now.

OK, no, the driver that you need to update are the ones from the actual KBE, which translates into building a new KBE. Follow this Quest Support KB

More information, KBE drivers as of now can't be updated so you need to create a brand new one from scratch to get the newer drivers to work, the drivers that get downloaded from the interface are the ones that get installed/injected to the actual OS during the Post-install task.
