No fingerprint possible after reinstall of SDA
We reinstalled our SDA (9.0.144) last week due to an ESX host change and imported the images from the old appliance into the new appliance. That all works too. But if I now upload a new Windows 10 or Windows 11 source medium via the current MediaManager, then I get the information in the overview of the source media that no fingerprint is possible. When I select the source media and fingerprint it, nothing happens. I have already updated the metadata. Does anyone have an idea what could be the reason?

I suggest to open a SR with KACE support to check all possible causes, since there are some which can cause this:
1. expired (or exceeded) license
2. db issue
3. connection issue to the MS servers for fingerprinting

Together with the Quest support we found the problem. It was me who directed to the wrong directory (Sources and not the root directory of the iso) in the media manager. Seems that corona made me dumber... - CarstenBuscher 2 years ago
