SCCM deployment of crystal report
Hi, I had created program for SCCM deployment of crystal report 2.5Gb app.
Advertise the program and keep for 15hrs but not yet deployed.
Receive column status is 1 and other column status is zero.No failure or error message.
Can any one kow how much time generally SCCM takes to deploy 2.5 GB.What are the ways to deploy this kind of app.
What are the causes and solution for not completing the deployment of application.

HI,
It wouldn't take that much time to Install for sure.
1. Have you tried installing the app using msiexec on a test PC without any errors. Check the log.
2. Make sure the previous versions are uninstalled before installing the app. Check the registry keys "HKLM\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\Windows\UnInstall\...." for previous version"
SCCM
1. Check the program settings, How you set it to run under environment tab?
a.you have three options
b. Only whe na user is logged On
c. Only when no user is loggged ON,.
Make sure you had the right one selected.
2. Check ExecMgr logs

It's also worth checking how you are running the advertisement. Are you running from distribution point or downloading the content to run locally?
If it's downloading it first then it may take quite a while to get - especially if your cache size is less than the package size [:D]
Check what Ram says too...
Thanks,
Dunnpy
