SCCM Program Notifications, can they be disabled in PDF/SMS file?
Hello,
I am currently importing some packages into the SCCM 2007 Console Manager using the New .. 'Package from Definition' menu option and browsing to the appropriate .SMS file for the package.
All is fine, except that I note that once the package is imported, then in the Program properties, Advanced tab, the Suppress program notifications checkbox is always unchecked, meaning of course that when the package is distributed, the end user sees a balloon notification that the package is about to be installed and also a countdown timer.
This is something I would like to suppress at the .PDF/.SMS file level, rather than creating a site wide setting for this, so I was wondering whether there is a line I can add to the .SMS file to disable program notifications ?
I have reviewed the .PDF and .SMS file format documentation on MS Technet, but there seems to be nothing there to meet my needs.
