[SCCM2012] Odd behavior during OS Deployment Task Sequence step Install Application

I have a very odd odd problem.  I have A task sequence that deploys Windows 7.  One of the steps is to install applications

Adobe Reader is in this step.  When the TS checks for required apps during the TS Adobe Reader is not in the list.  I can deploy Adobe Reader from the AppStore without problems.  No error in the TS logs. It's like it never sees that Adobe Reader is in the list of required apps to be installed....

Anyone else see this problem or experience something similar?

Have you set Adobe reader to install silently without user interaction in SCCM Program. Also check if you have enabled to install the application through TS.

The problem is solved:  Adobe Reader 9.5 was set as a supersedence to 9.3.  9.3 was retired and later deleted leaving behind a Scope_ID GUID in the Supersedence portion of Adobe 9.5's specs.  Once I deleted the supersedence Adobe 9.5 was able to install during a task sequence again.
