SMS uninstall not working?
I must be missing something, probably because I'm new at this, but I am unable to remotely uninstall using MSIEXEC through SMS. I am using the following commandline:
msiexec.exe /x {GUID} /qb-
When I do this on the machine from CMD it uninstalls. When I do this over SMS through an advertisement it fails with 1605. Basically stating that the application is not installed, when it is. I've triple checked the GUID and everything is ok. I'm not sure why when running through SMS it fails and when typing in CMD it works. I have to be missing something with my setup.
