sysprep/driver version conflict (xp sp1)
Is there a way to flush the \system32\drivers folder of any third-party drivers? In other words, those driver files that were not included with the OS (XP SP1)?
I maintain a few images for ~8 different PC models and the audio driver files for one system are older but of the same name as files already contained in this folder in the master image (ADI/SoundMAX - aeaudio.dll, smwdm.sys, etc). When mini-setup attempt to install the drivers it detects the "older vs newer" files and wants user intervention to resolve the conflict, which leaves the device uninstalled.
Thoughts?
