Advertised Programs Notifications
Hello,
In SMS 2003 the notification that a new software package appears in the system tray. It disappears once you open Run Advertised Programs, even if you install nothing. This is the behavior I beleive is normal and is what I want.
The problem is that in SCCM07 the same settings exist, in "Advertised Programs Client Agent Properties", but the behavior is different. In SCCM the tray notification remains until every app listed is actually installed.
Is there a way to have this disappear after the 1st opening or a certain length of time?
Has anyone seen this? If so, what was the work around?
I’d hate to have to either have it off or on.
Thanks!
