  • There have been several issues with upgrading agents to version 7 recently.
Mine was from 6.xxx to 7.xxx. Had to get in touch with support. In my case, after enabling the upgrade of the agent from the appliance, suddenly all the machines in the inventory went offline.
That would be your best option. Get in touch with support.
But try a reboot of the k1000 first. - akmagnum 7 years ago
  • Thank you for the response. I will log a request with the team then. You have any idea what they have did so, i can try those a glance. - jibanpaitandi 7 years ago
  • Some people have had to use the Amptools retrust command to get the agents back online.

If you reinstall the new 7.1 agent on a machine manually... does the performance improve? - Desktop Jockey 7 years ago
    • In the new version it seems it's non visible. I can't see the agent in any system, not even the services are running. By the way what is amptools and how it can be use ? - jibanpaitandi 7 years ago

  • I have been on with a customer today where the issue lay with the K1000 not the agent, in other words the resources on the K1000 were used and so it had no processing power to process inventory, so it may be worth looking at your server logs - Hobbsy 7 years ago
    • I have looked into it and it seems there is no issue on the processing. I regularly clear it too - jibanpaitandi 7 years ago
  • Here is a link that kace support gave to me for
amptools retrust , which was what solved my problem.
You need to sign in.... or create an account.
