Anyone using Scriptlogic's Desktop Authority?
Anyone using Scriptlogics Desktop Authority?
What do you think of it? I know Altiris does a lot of things besides Desktop Management but how do the desktop features compare?
Would love to hear your thoughts.
Regards
Mike

I use Desktop Authority and find it does a very good job of allowing to push settings to different machines. Desktop Authority does this with their validation logic capabilites which are very powerful. You can easy push out settings, software, etc to specific machines and not others based on the validation logic.

I was able to successfully configure DA on a Windows Server 2012 VM but how do I go about installing the DA client on a workstation? Doesn’t the DA Manager need to communicate with the workstations in order to apply any profile changes\etc.? - AEM 9 years ago

Hi AEM,
Desktop Authority replicate all data in \\NETLOGON (change it to \\NETLOGON\SLOGIC). Then change the logon script for the User to "slogic\slogic.bat"
Then every things works fine.
