Application Packaging Jobs/Training
Hi,
I am an MCSE, CCNA with 5 years experience working in IT as a Support/Deployment engineer.
I did the WISE Package Studio course in August 2003 and have been trying to get a job as a junior packager or as a volunteer but have had no success.
Is it possible to get a job as a volunteer
Thanks

Your best bet is to find a company with an unmanaged environment that will be upgrading to Management. Thats when you pitch your Wise training and interest.
I got into it when I was an intern still in college (about 3 years ago). The company was going to managed environment using software called Managesoft. I basically worked my way into the project, and volunteered to go to the packaging training. I packaged there for about 7 months. Once your foot is in the door, your set. I'm coming up on my 3rd packaging contract.
