Devices are not returning all of the inventory data.

I’m working with a Kace K1000 version 7.2.101, the agent version is 7.2.10.  I have three device a Windows 10, 8 and 7 that the inventory scan will not complete on.  If I run Kinventory on the device the error I get is “ an error was detected in the WMI repository that resulted in missing data for some of the sections”.   I find it hard to believe that I have three device with corrupt WIM repositories.  However I searched the ITNinja site as well as the Internet and tried just about all of the possible solutions for this error but nothing worked.  The only device I have that returns the correct inventory is a Windows 2008 R2 server.

Does anyone have any thoughts about fixing this?

Thanks

  • Hi, Unfortunately this didn’t fix the issue. I’ve spent quite a lot of time researching possible solutions on ITNinja and the Internet but I have not found anything to solve this issue on these devices. Does anyone have any ideas?

  • @Yukon - Sorry that I couldn't help you with that.
If everything doesn't work or helps, you should contact the KACE support. - svmay 6 years ago
