distribution subforums
I'd like to see appdeploy become a one-stop packaging AND distribution site. I (and probably most others) are responsible for both. I know creating too many sub-forums can make finding things annoying, especially if traffic is low (like the terrible installsite.org)... but I think creating sub-forums for SMS, Radia, Altiris, Marimba, Softricity, etc would make the distribution section busier. There are few topics that cross into each distribution method, so combining them just adds confusion and a lot of posts that no one wants to read.
Also, I think distribution forums are hard to find. I know that there isn't one anywhere on the internet for HP Radia for example. I'm sure there are SMS forums, but what about good Altiris or Marimba forums? Would they have traffic on them from expert packagers as well? I doubt it.
Anyway, my 2 cents.

Logical-- we'll give it a shot. I've added a few popular products to start with and we'll see how it goes.

I did give the individual deployment product forms a try, including Radia, but they never saw much activity. As such they have been taken down-- the Distribution forum is the place to go. If you include Radia in the subject of your posts that specifically apply to Radia I think you'll be able to connect well with the other users of this product on the site.
