GPO delay

This is my first post here although I have been a guest viewer for quite a while.

Can I have a GPO delay on its running for say 30 seconds after a user logs in? My problem is that we have a some custom software that refuses to install via GPO. It keeps giving the dreaded "The installation source for this product is not available. Verify that the source exists and that you can access it. "

If I wait until I get to desktop and then run it from either a login script or manually it works just fine. I even turned off the fast logon feature in XP and it still won't install. I don't want to use these two options as they can be cancelled by an EU.

Any other options that you can think of would be helpful, too.

Thanks in advance.

Hi dteck,
are you sure you are on the right track?
GPO installs are performed under the security context of the System Account! Have you done your tests also within the System context?
This mostlikely is a problem with missing rights for the Computer Account on the share/file system with the installation source on it.
Regards, Nick
