GPO for Foxit reader to enforce preferences

We are looking to replace adobe reader with foxit reader. I'd like to have a GPO that enforced certain settings like disable java script, disable view in browsers and enforce safe reading mode. Does anyone has a GPO or some other way they are enforcing settings for foxit reader?

If you register to download the .msi version, the is a GPO .admx add-in that allows you to set everything you require.

  • Another alternative is distributed by a company called PolicyPak. Their product integrates with Group Policy and allows you to configure and enforce all of the settings within FOXIT Reader as well as over a hundred other third party applications. You can try it out for free in either trial mode or community mode. It not only delivers the settings of your choice but locks them down in the registry and even disables or hides them from the user so they can't alter them. Here is a link for how it works with Foxit Reader http://www.policypak.com/products/manage-fox-it-reader-using-group-policy.html

Let me also state that I work for PolicyPak but the product works - brudisail 11 years ago
