how to add custom inventory rules in the sofware tab when it is the agent that detects the new software installation
like best practice suggest in the KACE user guide.
I have manually installed an new hot fix software for testing purpose on one server.i waited for the kace agents to do it's inventory check which worked fine and it updated the Device\software\installed programs.
from the device\software\installed programs i have clicked on my hotfix software which normally bring me to my hotfix Software Details.
so far, everything is fine.
i can update the Notes, Supported Operating Systems and Upload and Associate File:
I have uploaded my file.
my question: Is there a way to include my custom inventory rule from the agent software detection or i must create from scratch a software.
because at this point there is no option to add inventory rules??
i would appreciate some help on understanding this best practice??
