How to download and transfer patches.tar from online source to offline target
I work in an air gapped environment. I need to download the patch and Windows Feature Update files from the online source to the Offline Target. I cannot see the TAR file in the patches directory. I have an valid KACE Systems Management Appliance license. Under patch management, I configured and saved Subscriptions. Under Security › Patch Management › Patch and Feature Update Download Settings, I have the Offline Update > Online Source selected. It shows that is has 18 GB of Patch Files. I clicked Run Now and it shows Patch/Feature Update Download Starting package file download. Is there any indication that the patches.tar is actually downloading because event logs show nothing.
Please be patient, I am a newbie and inherited Kace.

You need to make your internet facing SMA the online source for patching and your airgapped SMA the offline source. To do this go to Patch Management>Download settings on your online SMA, scroll down and tick the “offline update” option followed by the “online source” option. It should then pretty clear as to where you can download the files.
On your airgapped SMA do the same but select the “offline source” option, which will enable the upload button. So once you have downloaded the files on your online SMA, you can copy them across into the offline version.
