I hve checked the entry in icon table and set the correct value of ARPPRODUCTICON in property table corresponding to icon table entry still the ARP icon is not coming in ARP entry. If i repair then the icon is coming in ARP entry.

If you just go the summary information (in General Information)
you can change the Display Icon there by adding the new one.
Nothing else needs to be done..

can you try with a notepad.exe icon ( just select the notepad.exe and choose the icon).. this should always work... - jaybee96 11 years ago

Have you given correct Icon Index in ARPPRODUCTICON property value?
For Ex: ARPRODUCTICON=IconF8F34223.exe,1
in the above value 1 is the icon index value
