Just upgraded the K2000 to ver. 3.5.80613 and now can't UNC into any shared drives.

Tried to UNC into \\Mykbox\drivers and get the Windows cannot access.....You do not have permission...  I've checked and doubled checked that I have the Samba share password and even changed the password.  Still no access.

see if you can get to \\kbox\petrmp or \\kbox\peinst, also try it from a different machine to make sure you do not have a cached password. If this all fails open a ticket.

  • Tried those as well yesterday and I don't cache passwords. Wierd that it happened after the upgrade. I just wanted to check my drivers to make sure the upgrade didn't wipe them like the last upgrade did. Will open a ticket. Thanks. - rjobe 11 years ago

Figured it out - I get NO pop-up prompt requesting credintials unless I UNC to the Root (\\kboxname\) first. I just thought it wasn't going anywhere. It used to prompt me regardless if I UNC'ed to the Drivers, PostInstall folders etc. If I use the New Win System Image Mgr program to create answer files it doesn't work either - no prompt - no nothing. I UNC to the root, enter credintials and everything works great. What a pain.
