Kace and Bomgar free license

Dell and Bomgar announced 2 free hosted licenses, question what do you guys think of it? Is't worth trying it and testing it. Since this is the hosted version how secure is it? Should I have any security concerns?

Thank you,

We started with the trial, and were so impressed with it we bought the appliance soon after. We have close to 23,000 machines, and it has greatly increased our productivity.

I like the remoting capabilities of remote users. We didn't have this before.

As far as security I can't speak much for the hosted, but we could not use the appliance until we did the security cert info. I would assume that since the appliance is so secure the same would be true for the hosted.

I was excited to hear this offer. But, now I find that as another part of the campus (fairly big campus) has some Bomgar licenses, we are not allowed to get the 2 free licenses for our vk1000. So, I guess that we will not get to try Bomgar.

  • With the free hosted licenses (2), you can create as many users as you want, but only 2 reps can use it at a time. Ask them to share! - chenderson 11 years ago
