KACE1100 - All machine are "Reboot Pending"
I recently started pushing out Adobe, Java, and Windows updates through our Kace 1100 via labels specific to each type, on separate schedules. All of the machines appeared on the inital scans as needing updates, and the Kace appeared to push them out. However, ALL of the machine are now listed as "Reboot Pending", and they will not change status, nor continuing updating. I've rebooted a bunch of these machines manually, and via scripts, and they still list as reboot pending even after running a new Patch Detection. Managed installs and scripts run normally, and all the machines are still checking in. Has anyone seen this before?

Unfortunately it looks like you have a release that many may not for their server and agent. Usually reboot should take care of the machines in that state unless there is something on the KBOX server itself. Have you rebooted the KBOX server yet to see if that clears anything up?
You are correct, until that Pending Reboot is cleared the patching won't continue. I would try rebooting the KBOX server, if you can. If not get a hold of support to see if that is a bug issue with that F/W and Agent you have.

I think you are on the right track with the firmware being the issue. I thought I had applied the newest 4.5 update yesterday, but apparently not. It's getting hung up on the "check table ORG1.KBOT_LOG_DETAIL", similar to this thread:

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction
*edit* just to add, I had tried rebooting as well as manually installing the update. No dice so I have opened a support ticket to get the update applied. - bharrison 11 years ago
