LM Detection Process overwhelming system
We are having a problem that seems to relate to Windows patching with the K1000. We do not patch Microsoft products through the K1000 (don't ask.. lol) we use WSUS but when there are Microsoft patches to be deployed that K1000 has downloaded some of our machines freak out. The LM Detection process goes to nearly 100% and stays there for nearly 30 minutes or more. Of course this causes the entire system to lock up and frustrates our users to no end. Anyone else see this problem and/or what can/should we do to fix it?

Make sure the Agent has access to the following white listed folders:
"What directories and executables do I need to whitelist for the K1000 agent?"
