Any good utilities to do a scripted modification of outlook 2002 Nk2 files? We are going to be updating our global distrubution lists and would like a way to delete the stale groups from the users autocompletes. The nk2's are on a network roaming profile share. I would like to find a utility that can be used to script the replacment and delete the stale entries. We might consider replacing the stale entries and prepopulate with the new names of the distro lists, but it's not required.
This would be run by the admin will full rights to the profile shares. Ideally the util can be set to the upper level profiles share and can be scripted to find all the nk2 files and delete the stale entries.
File structure for the profile servers are
\\server\profiles\%username%\
The nk2 file would be in the the subfolder %AppData%\Microsoft\Outlook
