Migrating from Windows XP to Windows 7
My organization has about 600 Dell PCs that we are ready to migrate from Windows XP to Windows 7. The problem is that there aren't any Windows 7 drivers for most of these PC models (most of them are Optiplex 745 & 755). If I download a Windows Vista driver for these models, will that work w/ the Windows 7 OS?
I'm open to any other suggestions on how I can migrate these many PCs to Windows 7.

Yes, most times the Vista drivers will work. Of course, it may depend on the specific hardware you've got. To test it out, you can download and extract the contents of the Dell driver to a USB key or something. Then, slap Windows 7 on a test box. Go into Device Manager and use the Update Driver method to point the thing to the folder containing your extracted drivers - this way you know it's not getting into anything else.

Sure, most of time windows vista drivers works with windows 7, but I suggest you to clone one computer to make a test. Once cloned, proceed to migrate to windows 7 and install all the Vista drivers for your computer and external devices to check that everything works fine, anyway your computers have the DELL support, so I'm sure DELL already has developed those windows 7 drivers for your computers model.
