NetSend With GPO
Hi everybody,
I am trying to force each user which logs on to our domain- to start up Messenger Service.
The problem is that I dot want the service running on all of the computers, only on those in which the specific user is logged on to.
Can yo guide me how to write this GPO please??
Thanks

Why not create a seperate login script for the required users (copy the existing one) and just add a "net start messenger" to the bottom of it. Then go into the users profile in AD and get them to run the new script, whilst leaving all the other users running the old one so that it doesn't start for them?

Hi,
First of all I want to thank you for your responses.
Second of all, the users are not administrative ones, so they don't have the parmission to strat services.
Meanwhile I wrot a script runnig on computers accounts instead of on user's account.
I tried to creat a simple GPO which starts Messnger Service just like "revizor" said but it didn't work...
If you have another suggestion, I will more than happy to hear them.
Thanks again
