No default value on Categorie

Hi,

We use a K1000 Appliance, version 6.0.101863.

I would like to force the user to fill the category field when he create a ticket.

How can I do that ? Because the field is declared as needed but i have a default value, so he can open the ticket without changing the category.

So, can I have no default value for the category field ?

We got around this by creating a category titled "Please select a category."  This makes it very obvious that the selection was overlooked.  We can easily report, select, and correct.  Not ideal, but it works for us.
