Office 2003 Mapi32.dll error from diff user
I'm attempting to Install Office 2003 for users via a GPO into different OU's. We are running Server 2003, and the old IT guys here have everything in a Flat NT structure, instead of using OU's.
In the CIW, I have it set to Modify the Outlook Profile for exchange settings. This way if a user already has a profile, it will leave it alone, if it's a new computer, it should create the profile.
I tested the install, it seemed to work fine for the 1 user I have in the OU where the GPO is. Created the profile, worked great.
When I logged into the computer, in the domain, with a different user with local admin rights, who has an exchange account, but is NOT in this OU (not in any OU), I get Cannot start MS Outlook, MAPI32.dll is missing or the wrong version. This could have been caused by installing other messaging software. Please reinstall Outlook.
Any ideas on why this is?
