Reboot my Kbox 1000 with extended DB check
I have been looking in the help areas of my KB 1000 about rebooting with the extended DB chack and have not found anything other then it is available.
Does anybody know what it checks? does it compress the DataBase? is it safe to do?
Thanks in advance
Ed

The "Reboot with Extended DB Check" appears to perform the same checks/optimizations that are done during a server OS upgrade. It optimizes compatibile tables, but does not seem to do any/much compression.
It is safe to do as long as your database is not corrupted (not likely, but not impossible). I would suggest copying the backup files before performing this, no matter how small the risk. To 100% guarantee no issues, you should check that database backup file for integrity. You'd have to contact KACE Support (probably a Tier 2 agent) to get instructions on checking this file.
