Does anyone know if changing your current Samba Share Password would have any effect on an organization?

from a K1000 side of things this shouldn't affect anything, but if you have things happening externally that use that share they may be broken; an FTP backup or automated file copy or something for example.

  • That's useful - it's been a year and a half since we set up KACE and nobody knew what the pass was. Good thing you don't need the password to change the password! - Ultimation 11 years ago
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
