SMS 2003 Primary Site Configuration..
I am trying to install SMS 2003 on Windows 2003 Server. Main reason is to do this software distribution / deployment.
Here are the steps I am following -
1. First I installed Windows 2003 Server SP2 standard Edition on my PC.
2. I created Active Directory.
3. I Installed SQL Server 2005 - Workgroup Edition.
4. Now when I am trying to install SMS 2003, I am not getting the Primary Site Configuration. Directly I am geting Secondary Site Configuration. I configured secondary site. Now when I go to Start Menu > System Management Server > SMS Administrator console, I get error message Connection Failed.
Could somebody tell me that where is the problem. First time I am working with SMS 2003. Is there any good link where installation and configuration steps are mentioned ?
Thanks !!
