Sub set the asset list
HI folks
we have something in excess 22000 assets of varying types. Is there anyway to make the Asset field only list assets of a certain type (e.g. the Assets ID for the schema is 10213). that match the Q that is using the field. We can use a custom field which only lists the appropriate assets but when you do this the link between the ticket and the asset is lost (i.e. when you go to the Asset record it should show the tickets that have been created for that asset).
- so either subset the list of Assets to a specified ID
- or if I use a custom field how do I get the ticket to asset link to work.

You should be able to do this with custom view by using Unique ID = 10213 (or whatever number you may be trying to look for). From there you can also save the custom views to refer back to them later.
