If someone sends in an email with characters other than A-Z, a-z, or 0-9 or does double spaces these characters and extra spaces are converted to some odd text characters.  For example below is some text I sent in via an email (forgive the misspelling of sentences) where I have some single and double spacing between sentences and also an apostrophe in the last sentence.  I have used FlySpeed query to directly check the data in the HD_TICKET table in the Summary field and it is showing the weird characters there so something appears to be converting the text on its way into the service desk.
