Still uses same basic parameters as Adobe Acrobat Reader 11.


EXE: AcroRdrDC1500820082_en_US.exe /sAll /rs /msi EULA_ACCEPT=YES REMOVE_PREVIOUS=YES

 

(This will install silently, uninstall any previous versions of Reader, auto-accept the eula, and upgrade to the latest.)

  

 Other potential Command Line switches are below: 

 

 /sAll Silent Mode for product

 /sPB Silent Mode with Progress Bar for product

 /rs Reboot Suppress 

/rps Reboot Prompt Suppress 

/ini "PATH" Alternative initialization file 

/sl "LANG_ID" Set Language; LANG_ID - Code in decimal digits 

/l Enable Error Logging.  Log file Bootstrap.log will be generated in temp directory 

/msi[Command line] Parameters for MSIEXEC

EXAMPLE:AdobeReaderInstallFile.exe /sAll /rs /l /msi "/qb-! /norestart ALLUSERS=1 EULA_ACCEPT=YES SUPPRESS_APP_LAUNCH=YES"

  • I have mine set with the command line of /msi EULA_ACCEPT=YES REMOVE_PREVIOUS=YES /qn It's installing, but KACE see's it as failing. Have any thoughts? - hitechgreg 9 years ago
  • /qn is for an MSI installation, these command line switches are for EXE files.

    I have modified this post...use /sAll /rs /msi EULA_ACCEPT=YES
