Post Install tasks after IMAGING..NOT SCRIPTED INSTALL

We have created images of our Windows 7 machines and wish to run a couple post install tasks..Join Domain and Install KBOX Agent but they simply do not seem to run.

We currently have systems deploying like this.

Diskpart to create disk partitions
drop the desired image
REBOOT
run mini setup to apply computer name
Manually add system to domain
REBOOT

How and where would we add the post install tasks? All references to post-install refer to scripted install and first run, not imaged systems.

Thanks!

You can add post install tasks to your image.
But you would need to set the autologon feature in your autounattend.xml to login on first boot then it will run post install tasks.

Goto your system images and click on them and below you should see options for pre and post install tasks.

CordlezToaster is right- an administrative user must log in to launch post-install tasks in either imaging style. For post-installs on a system image you could either log in manually, or add the autologin info to your unattended sysprep file.
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
