Hi All, I want to push a new host file to my client PC. i don't want to using any scripting, it have any ways to push it using a kace.

example:-

# localhost name resolution is handled within DNS itself.

#127.0.0.1       localhost

  • Is there no easy way to upload just a host file for a file sync? Looks like you have to create a dummy software install and upload a file with it and then create the file sync. Seems like a lot to just push out a different host file to a limited subset of users (in my case anyway) - chris.jennings 11 years ago

Simply use File Syncronisation and copy the new file to each PC.

Upload your file to the K1.

Then go to Distribution -> File Sync and set up the parameters
