Scripted Install not applying computer name

I have a scripted Windows 7 install that seems to be working. The OS installs and the kbox agent installs. The issue I am seeing is that the computer name is not being saved or applied. That task has been assigned to the scripted install, but I guess something else is wrong.

Has anyone else seen this or have an idea on what could be going on?

Check all the MAC addresses of the machine. I had a problem where the MAC address of the Bluetooth adapter was the one being used for comparison.

Not a laptop, it was on a batch of Dell Optiplex GX270's. I just moved the pre and post tasks to log and the computer name and apply it after scripted install was complete.

I'll try downloading the wsname thing in a bit.

I'll start another thread on this in a minute, but I am pretty much done messing with the 2000 box. The scripted install works almost halfway and the image deploy didn't work at all. Every one of my boxes get a wonderful "hardware configuration problem". Guess it is back to ghost images and doing it by hand again.
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
