Can KACE use Federated Active Directory?

I do not see in the Admin guide where it states that or if it is even listed as an option

Not too familiar with what Active Directory Federated Services does, but based on what I could find on Microsoft's site:

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb897402.aspx

I don't believe the Kace appliances can make use of the AD Federated Services.

The AD integration that I have seen has all been LDAP based, either for user/admin authentication in both the k1000 and k2000, or LDAP smart labels and organization filters in the K1000.  But, you can make use of more than one domain.

I'd have to agree with ncsutmf, as I believe you would need an agent installed on the KACE, and I'd doubt there is an ADFS FreeBSD agent.  That said, there are intgration modules for Apache http://www.sourceid.org/projects/ws-federation-apache.cfm.  You would certainly need some time with KACE custom development services, as we have no access to the OS.

You might get further with ADLDS http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/aa705886(v=vs.85).aspx if you are just trying to keep KACE out of your main AD.

Is the latest 6.3 Dell have added support for EMM SSO that is token based authentication. Using the advanced settings one may be able to change the default Dell settings to your own ADFS config and get it working but I am yet to test this.
