Export K1000 Packages

So I have 175,000 + records in my software inventory. I want to take 370 of those records, export them, and import them into another Kbox. These 370 have files associated with them, and I would rather not reupload 370 times.  Right now it looks like my options are sorting by software, and sorting 150 at a time through 175,000 records.. The software packages for the most part share nothing in common such as title, publisher, etc. I tried creating a label for them, and exporting that label. That only turned out to import the label, and not the software associated with that label. Any thoughts?

  • My only thought is wow, 370 have files associated with them! Did Dell have any suggestions; i.e. professional services. - Jbr32 10 years ago
    • I'm still waiting on an official answer from our SE. I've heard they may be able to, but not 100%. I'm not seeing an easy way. - dugullett 10 years ago

So Pro Services was going to have to recreate everything as well. There was not a way to export just those packages. I also noticed there's not a way to export manual labels. So I ended up restoring the full database. I then updated to 6.0 where I'm now allowed to delete 1,000 records at a time. It's a little more time consuming than I would have hoped, but it works.
