How do I capture an image of a Windows 8 ultrabook that doesn't have a wired network card?

We recently purchased a Lenovo ultrabook that has Windows 8 Pro on it.  Normally I would just do a PXE boot to capture an image of a PC or laptop but this ultrabook only has a wireless card.  Is there anyway to capture an image of this ultrabook to the K2000?  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

We use dongles.  You will have to add the drivers to your kbe for the the dongle, and if the usb port is 3.0 you may need to add those drivers also.

Comments:
  • Do you load the boot environment onto a USB key? The dongle I have can't do a PXE boot. I loaded the dongle driver. Going to load the USB 3.0 driver now to see if that makes a difference. - dnaylor 11 years ago

  • Managed to get it to connect with the Kace with USB to ethernet dongle. Just had to load the drivers into the KBE folder and rebuild the boot environment. Now I just need to see if I can capture an image with no issues.

Get yourself a handy dandy usb to ethernet adapter (or two)!
