Service Desk ticket owners LDAP label

I have been trying to create a label to automatically assign users from a specific Active Directory group as ticket owners as opposed to manually add and remove users from the current ticket owners label we use where I have to individually associate each user I want to be able to own a ticket to that label.

Has anyone successfully done this or can comment on best way to accomplish the desired outcome?

  • Yes...there was a bug about this for 6.0 but a fix has been released. You would use the LDAP Labels option to point to a particular group in AD and then build the filter to point to that group.

    example search filter

    (&(memberOf=CN=KBOX_Admins,CN=Users,DC=yourdomain,DC=yourdomainextension)(sAMAccountName=KBOX_USER))
