Where do you find the dedupe (deduplication) option for the amp connection?

I am having issues with computers being re-named in KACE and they are showing up as 2 different assets.  It was referenced in another question in this forum to make sure that amp dedupe is on.  Where is the setting?

Thank you

I don't remember seeing anything about amp deduplication, but there is a feature called 'Duplicate Machine Detection'.

The location is in the article below.  It explains how to deal with duplicate machines.  You want to make sure the box for Duplicate Machine Detection is checked.

I noted that things improved when I updated to more recent version of the KACE, auto-deployed the agent solely on our LAN rather than both our LAN and WiFi, and made some improvements to our DNS scavenging.  I do not know which change had more to do with the decrease in duplicates, but they are all worth trying.
