Why is Patching is currently disabled for windows in k1000

Patching is currently disabled for windows, because patch signatures are missing from the K1000. Please check the server logs for download errors, and rerun the patch download.

To resolve "Last Patch Update Status: Failed" errors and check for other patch update problems, see this KACE KB article: http://www.kace.com/support/resources/kb/article/If-your-K1000-appliance-fails-to-download-patches-what-are-the-items-to-check?action=artikel&cat=6&id=869&artlang=en

I had the same message two days ago, the next day things were working fine. I went to Security > Patching > Subscription Settings and I saw "Last Patch Update Status: Failed", but the next day it said "Last Patch Update Status: Updated".

Take a look at this KB article for their explanation: http://www.kace.com/support/resources/kb/article/If-your-K1000-appliance-fails-to-download-patches-what-are-the-items-to-check?action=artikel&cat=6&id=869&artlang=en

I ran into this when I had "all patches" selected and it turned out that my KBOX's HDD was out of space. I'm running much more granular patching groups now as a result. If you need any tips in that direction, I wrote another post covering that topic:

Hope that helps!
