K1000 Knowledge Base Permissions not functioning

I'm attempting to mark certain articles as IT only. I've created a label and assigned it to some IT users logins, as well as selected the option to "Limit Access to User Labels' in specific KB articles. I can now see the KB articles tagged with the label, but all users are able to view the entire list of KB articles(even these IT articles that should be hidden), and are not restricted from viewing them.

What would cause this and where in the Kace config do I need to go to troubleshoot this? Thanks in advance. -Mark

Don't know if that is a bug or not. I haven't seen that in any current version as an issue. So you.

1. Under helpdesk > Users create and applied a label to the IT group members

2. under KB you created a article and then added the label for the IT group

3. then went to user portal and logged in with an account that isn't an admin on the box but a normal user and you could see everything?

Remember, an admin can see everything under KB, even in the User Portal.

Do you have any custom roles with rights to the knowledge base?

Are the users that can see them under the user role not the readonly admin or admin role?
